We took our Hong Kong guests to Kidoizumi Sake Brewery and Iwase Sake Brewery in Chiba Prefecture.
We organized a one-day tour to Kidoizumi Sake Brewery and Iwase Sake Brewery in Chiba Prefecture for guests from Hong Kong who visited Japan to participate in the Japanese Sake Fair.
At Kidoizumi Brewery, we had the opportunity to see traditional wooden sake brewing equipment and rows of mash tanks, and enjoyed tasting aged sake. The aged sake was labelled according to the year it was bottled, and everyone searched for the bottle from the year they were born and enjoyed its flavour.
After enjoying a sushi lunch in Onjuku, we headed to Iwase Sake Brewery. At Iwase Sake Brewery, we learned about the brewing water that boasts the highest level of hardness in Japan and how it is used to make fresh, full-bodied sake. We enjoyed tasting a wide range of sakes, from the fresh i240 series to 25-year-old aged sake.
In the future, we would like to expand our line-up of half-day and full-day tours across Japan.
